GRECC: The Department of Veterans Affairs established Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Centers (GRECC) to improve health care and quality of life to older veterans through the advancement and integration of research, education and clinical achievements in geriatrics and gerontology into the total VA health care system and broader communities. The Health Services Research and Development Service (HSR&D), one of four research services within VA's Office of Research and Development, works to identify and evaluate innovative strategies that lead to accessible, high quality, cost effective care for veterans and the nation....
   
VA QUERI: VA's Quality Enhancement Research Initiative (QUERI), is designed to translate research discoveries and innovations into better patient care and systems improvements. QUERI focuses on eight high-risk and/or highly prevalent diseases or conditions among veterans: Chronic Heart Failure, Colorectal Cancer, Diabetes, HIV/AIDS, Ischemic Heart Disease, Mental Health, Spinal Cord Injury, and Substance Abuse.
   
Management Decision and Research Center (MDRC): The VA-sponsored MDRC has launched a research webpage designed as a resource to researchers who are interested in conducting management research or including organizational variables in their clinical research. The webpage provides:
- a conceptual framework for management research,
- a discussion of methodological challenges in conducting management research, and resources to management researchers including instrument summaries, ongoing management research projects in VA and references.
