VA Associated Health Post-Doctoral Fellowships
This two-year Fellowship is intended to train creative, independent, ethical and productive leaders in health services research who will advance the VA's research agenda far into the future. It is open to United States citizens who have recently completed a doctoral degree in any of the professional disciplines of health services research, such as the social and behavioral sciences, epidemiology, statistics, management, and nursing.

VA Nursing Fellowships
The Postdoctoral Nurse Fellowship Program is designed to provide nurses, who have earned doctoral degrees, the opportunity to broaden their scientific or research background, or to extend their potential for clinical research in nursing. The major goal of the Postdoctoral Nurse Fellowship Program is to develop a cadre of clinical nurse researchers who will be able to:
(a) conduct clinical nursing research;
(b) secure funds for clinical studies through grants;
(c) foster communication of clinical research findings through presentations and publications; and
(d) promote integration of significant research findings into the clinical care of patients.
This fellowship program was developed in collaboration with the Nursing Services Office and is funded both by the Office of Academic Affiliations and the Office of Research and Development.
